Don't Panic, Don't Panic!

A letter from Michael Grade about Clive Dunn.
Check out this classic letter from then Theatrical Agent Michael Grade acting on behalf of his client, Clive Dunn, confirming that Clive will be listed third in the credits, after Arthur Lowe and John Le Mesurier in Dad's Army.

Clive Dunn had already made a name for himself by playing characters considerably older than his real age. Despite his appearance in 'Dad's Army', he was only 58 when he began playing Jonesy. His agent at the time was Michael Grade, who went on to become a major figure in British broadcasting.
